This recording was made during the panel discussion at the first Wire Salon, which was held on 1 April 2010 at London’s Cafe Oto. The panel was made up of Mark Fisher, Adam Harper, Joseph Stannard and moderator Tony Herrington, and debated how the term hauntology has entered music criticism as a means of understanding the uncanny quality of so much contemporary audio, from spektral disco to dubstep, Hypnagogic pop and beyond.
