With 200 releases to its name, Brighton label Tru Thoughts marks its 10th anniversary by issuing this veritable compendium of 32 favourites spread across two discs with a bonus third disc boasting a further 12 tracks recorded exclusively for the occasion. With disc one harbouring jazzy, soulful styles, Milez Benjaman, Natural Self and Bonobo are left to fly the electronic flag. Disc two, the strongest of the three, features Tru Thoughts on a funk tip and, as such, is filled with eminently danceable cuts. As an introduction to the label, this is just about as solid as it gets.
