Massive congratulations to Mercury award winner Speech Debelle for her win this evening. Producer Lo Tek created a great background for Speech’s rhymes and Ninja Tune subsidiary Big Dada did well by signing her.
On hearing any album, you can almost immediately judge if it’s going to be something special or not. Speech’s debut is consistent throughout, and I recommend you hear it. Well done, Mercury, you done got it right.
